Jaylen Brown exits Celtics preseason tilt vs. rapping with hamstring tightness
Fans Boston Celtics Watch their favorite football club take on Toronto Raptors At TD Garden in a preseason event he got an unwelcome surprise as Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown took some tentative steps while grabbing the back of his left leg late in the game’s second frame.
The Georgia native quickly headed to the locker room, and didn’t return before halftime. Per the Celtics, he is now listed as questionable to return to action with left hamstring tightness while the Celtics led 52-50 at halftime. Of course, Brown is unlikely to return to action for the only preseason contest remaining on Boston’s schedule, with the Celtics’ 2025-26 NBA regular season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers in exactly one week on Wednesday, October 22.
Brown had scored 7 points, 2 rebounds and a steal when he left the game.
