Jessica Wolfson appointed CEO of “Grant”
The wavelength of the cinema and content of the Jessica Wolfson studio as a new executive director of The Wave Grant, a program designed to support emerging directors from various backgrounds and views to tell their stories.
Grant Wave (Women at the Edge) chooses five recipients to receive a $ 5,000 seed grant to produce the first short movie. Recltor also receives guidance from the wavelength team in an attempt to guide them through all aspects of development and production, after production, festival strategy and more. In addition, the program provides guidance for group financing from Seed & Spark services and coloring from Nice Shoes.

Wolfson is a director and producer whose work extends on documentaries, narrative content and brand. Its credits include “Hot Graase” (Discovery “,” Radio Unnamed “(Kino Lorber) and” Play Oound Me “(ESPN).
It also produced documentaries such as “Life & Life”, “SACRED” (PBS), “Root Landscape” and “Revenge of the Mekons” as well as short pants such as “The New Yorker”. Her career began at IFCTV Origeals, and she cooperated with Kirby Dick, John Landis and Jon Favreau.
In addition, Wolfson directs film makers through Gotham and Tribesa International Arts and Arts in Central Africa and Yemen. She taught documentary production at the New York Film Academy and Austin Community College, and sits in the Consultative Council for Creative Professions of the Austin Film Society.

The wavelength produces documentary films, a bachelors’ musical theater and a brand content including DOC “32 Sounds” from Sam Green, Nanfu Wang, Jialing Zhang “One Child”, Broadway Productions “The Obsides” and “The Who’s Tommy”.
