Jonathan Kuminga is flying high in a must-see game against the Lakers
Sunday evening, Golden State Warriors fell on Los Angeles Lakers In their first loss of the 2025 preseason campaign. While the Lakers took the win, it was Golden State forward Jonathan Kuminga who stole the show with a must-see goal.
In the second quarter, Draymond Green came down with a rebound while Kuminga made his way up the court for a fast break. Green cut a pass downfield as Kuminga was going downhill. After two dribbles, Kuminga broke free to throw the ball one-handed over Lakers guard Jake Laravia.

Even though it’s only pre-season, Kuminga has looked in mid-season form. The 23-year-old forward finished with 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field to go along with six assists in 22 minutes in Golden State’s 126-116 loss to the Lakers on Sunday.
The Kuminga Warriors will return to the floor Wednesday night in Portland for a matchup against Portland Trail Blazers.
