LeBron James is announcing a new children’s book on Halloween
With the announcement of his latest children’s book, “Happy Spooky Halloween,” on Thursday, LeBron James is donning his author hat once again.
The 32-page picture book, with illustrations by Ariel Landi, is about “teamwork and the excitement of Halloween.” It is scheduled to be released on July 21 by publisher HarperCollins.
Halloween is the Los Angeles Lakers star’s favorite holiday, and he often dresses up in costumes. Call it a bucket list item to launch a book about today.
“You know how much I love Halloween, and this holiday will be special,” James said in a short video on social media. “A very Happy Scary Halloween… everyone.”
The plot follows a main character named Zara and her friends who attend a Halloween party thrown by the “big kids” at the fictional Hickory Elementary School, according to Description by HarperCollins.
James has previously published three children’s books: “I Promise” in 2020, “We Are Family” in 2023, and “I’m More Than” in 2024. “I Promise” became a #1 New York Times bestseller.
