Like Clement Ateli, Kiir Starmer must rise to this occasion Care Starmer
Martin Kitel truly says that the two turns Bevan is the only politician other than Clement Ateli, who is called by the leaders of the Labor Party regularly (Critics say Starmer is not right – and they are right. The Labor Party must look at the future, not the past, July 31). Kiir Starmer relies on Harold Wilson to inspire him, but more important in the Kettle argument is David Lami, who claims a role model in Ernest Beven. In 1940 and the Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1945, Erney Beven took control of the contract. Bevin sought to continue an American military presence in Europe but had no illusions about the “special relationship”. The Suez crisis in 1956 was an examination of the reality of Magoudi, which confirms the priority of the White House for our self -interest above any assumed commitment to an ally, no matter how close.
Larry Elliot’s pessimism about Trump’s commercial deal with Europe is understood (this commercial deal is the moment of Suez in the European Union- Trump’s dependency is exposed to everyone, July 31), but the European Union can turn into how France responds to the United States- the joint market, and the design that French foreign policy will not be subject to pressure across the Atlantic witnessed the fourth, then the Fifth Republic developed its advanced, traditional and nuclear weapons. If Attlee, not Aden, was prime minister in 1956, we can be sure that he would not have complicity with them with France and Israel to invade Egypt, then he denied this over and over again. The greatest quality attlee was not brief – it was integrity.

I do not feel that Martin Kittel is completely fair or correct to say that Clement Ateli, when he became prime minister, “withdrawing Britain from India as quickly as possible.”
Attlee has a closely participated in India for more than 20 years, as she returned to the SIMON committee, which was established in 1927, specifically to consider the possibility of Indian independence and self -base. As a member of the deputy and a member of the committee, Attlee visited India several times before the war (there is no unpleasant work in those days), they understood the issues and knew the leaders of political parties and the factions.
It did not reduce the problems that independence might bring (although it is not certain that violence and bloodshed), noting that the division “will necessarily leave minorities in both countries”, but stresses that his labor government “was serious in seeking to implement the promises made by Britain.”
Eighty years later, another labor prime minister faces similar challenges on Palestine. I am sure that Care Starmer, like his distinguished predecessor, will rise to this occasion.

Martin Kittel’s interesting article on Clement Ateli referred to his wife, who is leading him to Buckingham Palace to meet King George VI in his historic victory in 1945 against Churchill. Mrs. Atli was a bad driver. My late father, Mrs. Atli once, told me his car when driving the Prime Minister on a foggy night in London. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
