Lionel Messi returns from injury, and he registered twice to raise between Miami to the League Cup final

Lionel Messi returned in the perfect time for Inter Miami.

Now, thanks to some of the late game tournaments, the club returns to the Championship Cup final.

Messi reached two goals on Wednesday evening to raise Inter Miaami to win 3-1 against Orlando City in the semi-finals of the Championship Cup at the Chis Stadium. Inter Miyami will now advance to face La Galaxy or Seattle Sounders in the championship match.

Messi, after Orlando advanced 1-0 at the end of the first half, settled the game in a soft penalty in the 76th minute.

Then only 11 minutes, Messi did it again. The perfect pass from Jordi Alba, was expelled once and the corresponding corner of the winner was shot. Orlando goalkeeper Pedro Galasi could only watch him when the ball went behind him to the net.

Messi was marginalized throughout August while dealing with a muscle injury in the right leg. He returned from the injury shortly and scored once in the match with La Galaxy on August 16, but he seemed to increase it again in that match. Alba was absent from the second half of this victory with a knee injury in his semi -finals with the Tigres Uanl from Liga MX, too, although they and Messi were able to take the stadium on Wednesday night. Clearly, both of them return to full strength.

Miami is now returning to the Championship Cup final for the second time in two years. The franchise defeated Nashville SC to win the championship in 2023 in the first days of Messi. Columbus Crowe beat LAFC last year.
