Luka Doncic and Austin exit the Lakers’ game against the Trail Blazers
Portland, Oregon — Luka Doncic and Austin Reeves will miss the Lakers’ game in Portland on Monday as the team has ruled both out due to injury.
One night, after recording 29 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, Doncic went out to treat a bruise on his lower leg. Reeves, who scored 26 points and had 11 assists in the Lakers’ 130-120 win over the Miami Heat, is out with right hip soreness.
This will be the fourth game that Doncic will miss this season, as he was also sidelined due to a minor injury to his finger and a bruise to his left leg.
Playing in their second straight game of the season, the Lakers will once again come up short. They had seven players on record contracts when they hosted the Trail Blazers on the second night of a back-to-back last week. Portland won 122-108 as Reeves tried to carry the team with 41 points.
The Lakers could also be without Deandre Ayton, who is suffering from back spasms. He missed Sunday’s game after experiencing pain last Friday in Memphis.
Forward Maxi Kleber has been upgraded to questionable due to an abdominal strain that has sidelined him all season.
