“Magic 8 Ball” TV show announced by M. Night Shyamalan and Brad Falchuk
M. Night Shyamalan has announced that he will direct a TV pilot based on Mattel’s popular Magic 8 Ball toy.
The project is written by Brad Falchuk, co-creator of “Glee,” “American Horror Story,” “911” and more TV giants.
Shyamalan, the horror master behind The Sixth Sense, The Village and last year’s Trap, made the announcement on Instagram, posting text that read: “Magic 8 Ball Season 1 ‘Pilot’.”
“I’ve been working on this for a few years… who’s going to be involved?” Shyamalan asked in the caption, tagged with “that’s for sure,” nodding to the popular response from the fortune-telling device.
It’s not clear who will be distributing the “Magic 8 Ball” series, or if there is any talent attached to it. diverse I’ve reached out to Shyamalan and Falchuk’s reps for more information.
