Manchester United will compete with Liverpool and Chelsea for Taras Mikavu

Manchester United are interested in signing Taras Mikavu from Dynamo Kyiv.

The 20-year-old central defender is highly rated across Europe and is being sought by Manchester United along with other Premier League clubs. It will be interesting to see if they follow up on their interest with a formal proposal to get the deal done.

Mikavu could be tempted to move to the Premier League in the future if the opportunity arises. It will be a big step in his career. However, any deal to sign him is unlikely to be straightforward.

Manchester United will face strong competition from Liverpool and Chelsea. Both clubs have shown their desire to invest in talented young players, and will look to sign the 20-year-old as well. It will be interesting to see where Mikafu ends up.

He is not the only young defender Manchester United are pursuing. They are keeping an eye on Tyle Tati as well.

Taras Mikavo is highly rated

Graeme Bailey revealed on TBR: “Mikhavko is a top prospect and a number of scouts have told me they think he is ready for a move now and could end up in the Premier League.

“English clubs are very impressed with the way Ukrainian players are settling in. In recent years, players coming directly from Eastern Europe have settled in wonderfully, and that happens when you look at other leagues, because it is not always the case when players come to England.”

Where will Mikafu end up?

He should be looking to join a club that has a clear plan for his development. He will want to play regular first-team football next season as well. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United are prepared to provide him with the necessary guarantees to convince him of the move.

It’s fair to assume that all three English clubs have the resources to get the deal done, and it will be interesting to see what the defender decides to do. He is a talented player with a bright future, and could develop into an important first-team player for all three clubs.

They will be hoping to sign on for a reasonable amount of money in the near future. They are looking to build a formidable squad for the future, and investing in promising young talent across Europe would be a step in the right direction.
