Marcelo Hernandez brings The Movie Guy to life on SNL Weekend Update


On a Night of Reprisals by Marcelo Hernandez, ref Saturday Night Live The player brought back his character The Movie Guy in the Weekend Update – a cinephile with a poor viewing history.

Although Cold Open avoided political commentary, Jost and co-anchor Michael Che delved into this week’s news, joking about the release of disgraced GOP representative George Santos, the debate between New York City mayoral candidates Andrew Cuomo and Zahran Mamdani, and US President Donald Trump’s recent musings about not getting into heaven.
