Men’s basketball poll: Cooper Flagg, Duke looks not stopped in ACC; Ayawa’s vortex with successive losses
It is only the first week in February, and Big 12 collapses a little, but ACC has a very clear favorite that no one seems to be able to stop.
Here’s all that you missed in the 13th week of men’s basketball season, and the latest survey of the Associated Press Basketball.
Duke wins, again, in ACC
ACC is Cooper Flagg that you lose.
Duke won his latest victory on Saturday afternoon at home, while the star of a student looked incredibly in his first match with North Carolina. Blue Devils, thanks to 21 points and eight rebound balls from Flagg, rolled to 87-70. Pay them to 19-2 on the year and 11-0 perfect in ACC.
Duke held second in a poll this week, behind Oborn is the first rank. Tigers, now on 20-1, overcame both LSU and Ole Miss this week. Then Alabama, Tennessee and Houston collected the first five.
Blue demons are completely sailing through the Administrative Coordination Committee, and no one can stop them. They have now won 15 consecutive, and they won each of the conference matches at a rate of approximately 20 points. Even on their close dates – like their victory over North Carolina on Monday, which was close to the end – they were constantly able to withdraw.
At this stage, it is not clear who will be able to stop Flagg and Duke. The ACC, which is in the lower year, has not been able to make Dent at all so far. The Blue Devils has only one discount ranked on their normal season’s schedule, but it is a game that is not conferences against Illinois 23 later this month.
Although the non -defeated range of the conference may be unrealistic, the blue demons in a major position enter the last large extension of this season.
Hurricane cancer with successive losses
It was a difficult week for the state of Iowa, and the top 12 Big 12.
The Cyclones shot down consecutive games and saw her chain of 29 games at Hilton Coliseum End after Kansas won by beating 19 points on Saturday. It is compatible with the largest victory by an unpaved team against the opponent of three of its best in the AP survey date, according to ESPN.
This loss came a few days after a wild end in Arizona last Monday, when Calip Loew hit a dangerous ridiculous from the half -stadium to additional work. Then these Wildcats flew in the additional period to seize 11 points, which brought them back to the survey this week in No. 20.
Iowa, which has now lost three of its last five games, has dropped five sites to No. 8 in a survey this week.
They are not the only Big 12 team to fight, but hurricanes need to gather quickly if they will run the normal season title. This begins in Kansas on Monday evening, where Jayhawks deals with their own issues.
Kansas, after losing to Houston at home last week, fell in Baylor at 11 points on Saturday. The Bears used a long period of 17-0 at the late second half, surpassing Kansas 60-30, to win and reach 14-7 per year. This is Kansas to No. 16.
The ugir collapsed, despite the start of 9-0 in Big 12 Play, in additional time on Saturday night and lost the first match in the conference against Texas Tech by one point. Houston still improves a place to number 5 in this week poll.
While the upper part of Big 12 has separated from itself, the race between that group is absolutely no one who wins it.
