Messages: Brian Patten I am hair
Unfortunately before his early death, my husband, Brian Patten (obituary, October 2), left beautiful notes, in the garden after midnight, in the same breathing. Also in the form of a draft is Thrush Cinder, the final hair group (and in my opinion, better).

I met Brian at a store in Shabard Bush, and we continued to talk for nearly 40 years. Perhaps the true natural poet you knew. Whatever the way the world brought, from when he was 15 years old until his death, he could find a picture, or a series of pictures, which embody the influence, and there are more upcoming poems.
It may be assumed that since his last collection of adult poems, Armada, was published 29 years ago, the gift had been deserted. But he continued to write, about nature, departure and love. He used to read poems for me on the phone. I hope I can talk to him again.
