Neidhart talked about all the trials and tribulations she faced in her life in her autobiography, “The Last Hart Beating: From the Dungeon to WWE.” Neidhart takes the reader on a journey from her beginnings in professional wrestling through all the tragic moments her family dealt with, including the deaths of her father and uncle.

She told Fox News Digital that writing the book was a way for her to step out of her comfort zone and challenge her on a different level.

“The most important thing about writing the book was just about taking on new goals, new challenges, new things,” she explained. “Writing a book is something I’ve always wanted to do but I’ve also been afraid to do it. In the last year, I’ve been really interested in taking on challenges that scared me. I’ve been thinking about doing things like…it’s not even what scares me so much, but just doing things outside of my comfort zone, getting into situations that aren’t easy, like taking on a new persona or working on new projects.”

“Writing a book was something I always wanted to do, but I kept putting it off because I was like, ‘If I write a book, I just want it to be perfect.’ The best thing to do when you want to grow is to just start.”

Neidhart goes into detail about all the highs and lows she’s experienced in the industry.

She said her main idea was that she hoped readers would feel like they were reading a story and not just another biography.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship was canceled due to an injury to Seth Rollins, a title match between the top stars

“Wrestling is the background to my story, but the book is about the matches I had or how I got started,” she said. “People who read it, they can’t wait to get to the next chapter because it’s a story. They can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen in the story, and it’s a story that people don’t know.”

In one instance, Neidhart wrote about recalling feeling like “the last one left” of her family in the professional wrestling business.

The pressure has certainly been there throughout Neidhart’s career.

“I think it’s just about loving what I do,” she told Fox News Digital. “It’s hard to believe that I’ve been in WWE for almost two decades, but I truly love what I do. Just like in anything, there will be things that you love, there will be things that are hard and there will be things that are challenging, but there is no greater feeling than walking through the curtain doing something that you love and feeling good about it.”

“I think the most important thing for my family is that my family has done a lot in this industry, but at the end of the day, we all had the opportunity to go into this industry to really live our dreams, which is amazing.”

“The Last Hart Beating: From the Dungeon to WWE” will be released on Tuesday.

She expressed her hope that fans would be able to “heal” in some way by reading the book and learning about her experiences.

“If the message in my book is anything to go by, if anyone gets anything from the book, I hope it helps them heal in some way,” she said. “You could read my book without knowing anything about wrestling and you would totally understand it.

“And that’s a big thing for me — I wanted to write a book that was going to be easy to read and you can love wrestling, you can hate wrestling, you can know nothing about wrestling, and you can completely understand the book because it’s about people and relationships, and I think it’s going to heal a lot of people.”
