Nobbs was nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Year award on 2 November

The 32-year-old, who joined the Magpies in July, played a key role during United’s encouraging month, which began with a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town.

Clare Ditchburn’s side then earned a 1-1 draw with local rivals Durham, before defeating Sunderland 3-1 in front of a crowd of around 19,000 in the first Tyne-Wear derby of the season at St James’ Park.
