Northern Ireland was defeated 1-0 by Germany in a World Cup qualifier at Windsor Park.

After Dan Ballard had a goal ruled out for offside, Newcastle striker Nick Woltmad scored the winner in the first half.

The striker scored his first goal for Germany from a corner kick, helping the visitors stay top of Group A.
