Openai declares a huge US government partnership
Openai It cooperates with the United States government to provide the leading border models for federal employees. Under the agreement, federal agencies can reach Openai forms for one dollar for the next year, for each advertisement from the company and the Public Services Department (GSA).

On July 23, OpenAi Operations Officer Brad Lacapters and other Openai executives were invited to a special party that was hosted by the Hill and Valley Forum in Washington, DC. A number of government employees participating in various artificial intelligence policy efforts, including Doge Associas Akash Bobba and Edward Coristine, have been on the invitation list, according to a call obtained by WIRE.
It is not known whether Lightcap has attended the celebrations. Alexander Wang, head of Meta Superintelligence, and representatives of Palantir were also invited.
On Tuesday, GSA announced that it would add three new models of artificial intelligence – Claude from Intermeic, Jimini, Google, and Openai’s Chatgpt – to the federal purchase list, and opened the door for government agencies to use these tools. This step has been framing as strengthening the Trump AI plan, which called for the acceleration of the innovation of artificial intelligence in the United States.
On the same day, Openai launched two open models-the first version of the company since 2019. Models can be operated locally and allocated to specific use cases, which may allow Openai to partnership with government agencies that require high levels of data security.
