Paramount skydance names Makan Delhim Legal Chairman


Paramount Skydance has announced the appointment of Makan Delhim, who advised Skydance to seize Paramount Global, as head of law. Previously, a public prosecutor was supervising the US Department of Justice Anti -Justice Department during President Trump’s first term.

Delhim begins in the new round on October 6, 2025, as it supervises all legal and regulatory issues, compliance and general policy of the company, including supervision of the Paramount team in government relations. Stephanie Kyoko McKinon, the company’s general advisor and chief legal official, will continue as a general advisor and a report to Delhim.

Delhim joins Paramount from Latham & Watkins, where customers are advised about prominent transactions, organizational and governmental compliance, and complex litigation. He and the company presented the legal advisor to the media at Skydance throughout the integration and purchase process that led to the successful acquisition of Paramount Global; The $ 8 billion deal closed on August 7.

Paramount Sokandans said that Dalraham is “an expert recognized in the Anti -monopoly and intellectual property law,” and he gives lectures on topics in universities and institutions around the world.

In Latham & Watkins, Delhim customers included private stock companies APOLLO, Helman & Friedman, KKR and Silver Lake, as well as Caesars Entertainment, Cox Media Group, Eldridge Industries, Endaavor/WME, Fanduel and LIV GOLF, Oak View Group, OMNICOM, Searchlight Capital, UFC and World Poker.

Before Latham & Watkins, Delhim from 2017-21 has served the position of thirty-fifth US Public Prosecutor in the Anti-Anti-Justice Department. Before that, he held high positions in the Ministry of Justice, in the Capitol Hill, at the White House and the office of the United States Commercial Representative, including Deputy Assistant Prosecutor in the Anti -Monopathy Department of the Ministry of Justice, Commissioner of the Anti -Monopolit Modernization Committee, Chairman of the Advisors and Chief of Staff of the US Senate.

Dal Ibrahim was born in Tehran, Iran, holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, a law certificate from the Faculty of Law at George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California in Los Angeles. I recently completed certificates programs in both machine learning and Blockchain from the Mit Sloan Graduate College of Management and completed the production certificate program at the Faculty of theater, cinema and television at the University of California, Los Angeles.
