Pope Liu’s brothers travel to Rome for a reunion after his historic election
A few days after the history of history as the first American door, Pope Leo XIV in Illinois is preparing to reunite with his brothers in Rome, where his brother John Priestte will join him to celebrate this unprecedented moment of the Catholic Church and Chicago alike.
Pope Liu was elected in the aftermath of the papacy of the papacy on Thursday, when the Dultun citizen became the first Pope, who is ever born in the history of the church.
The unexpected travel to Rome is the fifth time that Prevost traveled to the Italian capital. Two of those trips were with his brother, who is now the world leader of the Catholic Church.
He told Prevost NBC Chicago that he had informed his brother about the trip in a brief phone call.
“I told him that we are coming. He said,” well, “well.”
Prevost was reflected in the pride associated with the achievement of his historical brother, while recognizing the challenges. He pointed out that his parents will be “happy and active” about the role of Pope Liu.
“This is the thing … look at the” first “that we are here.
As for his plans during the visit, Prevost said that many are still in the air.
“We are waiting to see, we are supposed to have lunch, we are supposed to go somewhere. We will travel with the Pope to a special place and we will only discover it. Because we are only here until Tuesday,” said.
Prevost said he is not planning to stay to install Pope Liu.
