Russian President Vladimir Putin said the initiative of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to send Pyongyang’s forces to combat Ukrainian forces in Corsak.

South Korea estimates that about 2,000 North Korea soldiers died defending Korsk against a cross -border incursion by Ukraine.

Putin and Kim met in Beijing, China, where they attend celebrations and a military parade to celebrate 80 years since the end of World War II.

“In your initiative, as well as well known, your own units have shared the liberation of the Corsak region, in line with our new treaty,” Putin said, originally in Russia.

“I want to point out that your soldiers fought courageously and starring.”

Kim Putin told North Korea’s “brotherly duty” to Russia to do so.
