QB Daniels has a serious injury to his left arm
LANDOVER, Md. — Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a left arm injury and was out of Sunday night’s 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks midway through the fourth quarter.
Daniels was injured with 7 minutes, 39 seconds left in the game when he rushed to his right and was sacked on the Seattle 4-yard line. His left elbow bent back on the tackle, and he immediately appeared to be in pain.
Several teammates knelt as medical staff tended to him. A cart was sent, but Daniels instead walked into the locker room with a black cast on his non-throwing left arm.
The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
It is the third injury of the season for Daniels and appears to be the most serious. He missed two games due to a sprained knee and one due to a hamstring injury.
Daniels completed 16 of 22 passes for 153 yards and one interception before exiting. He also ran for 51 yards and one touchdown as Washington fell to 3-6.
