How to describe this last chapter in your musical profession?

I am in an era [when] I do what I like to do and what I enjoy more. there [are] Moments when I like to do something without necessarily thinking if everyone will love it. There are also moments in which you should focus on winning the fans. There will be more music for them, but this last album is a special thing for people who believe in my project from the beginning.

How it was supposed to produce your last album independently, “Ferxxo Vol X: Sagrado”?

It was very frustrated at first. I was thrown almost in the towel several times. I talked to my family and friends and told them: “I don’t like what I do. I don’t think this looks good.” Then a moment came when I switched things, I found my feet and everything came out wonderfully. To put out this album, make me feel that I show everyone as I am; There is no makeup. There are no corrections from other producers, or corrections of my voice. There is no A & R. It seems as if I downloaded a picture of myself in the underwear to Instagram.

In the past few years, there have been beats that I had finished making and the music that I could have mixed, but I did not do that. I made this album to prove myself that I can finish what I haven’t done before. This was my goal for this year. It makes me feel happy with this album, there were no rules.

In November, I won the First Latin Grammy Award forEst Petgaeton PErformance for “Perro Negro” with Bad Bunny. What was your head at that moment?

It was crazy! When I did not win a “color”, I was like “,”Hijuepucha [son of a …]If I don’t win “Luna”, how will we win “Perro Negro”? “These artists in this category were great. Grammy. [Laughs]. It was the moment Moy Chaimba.

This is definitely the summer of “Firano Rosa”. How did this song meet with Karol G?

We recorded the song in 2023, but we changed its tone several times. We were trying to find a way in which Carroll looks like Carroll and look like Ferxxo. In the tone we had, I was singing Super Low and was in a higher record. I was taking singing lessons that raised my record a little.

What do you think when Karol G signed “Whoa” in the song?

You were recently monitored in the studio with Kid Laroi and Cypress Hill. What can you tell us about these sessions?

It is still a voice. I worked with Reggaeton in several ways. Now it is like: What can I do to share my voice with Kid Laroi, a pop star and R&B, and make him Reggaeton? With the legendary Cypress Hill, how can I live in their world of rap and hip hop music? When I cooperate with artists of other types, it is an educational opportunity for me. With Cypress Hill, it was all about hearing what they said. I offered them rap songs in my album and asked for their opinions. These projects must come soon.

I recently disturbed a new song called “Se lo juro“Will this song lead to another album?

“SE Lo Juro” is a very beautiful song. It will be part of my next project. I have everything ready to go, [but] I don’t think it will be the usual diagonal in December because this is far. I can not wait until then. [Laughs.] I focus heavily on communicating with the roots of Reggaeton and what made me fans of it.

You are now part of the Marvel world, with the series “The Green Man”. What can we expect the second comic later this year?

It is a dream for me [to be in] The world of miracle, I [one of the] X-Men, and I will join them later. It is my story inside this universe. The second comic will appear in December, or perhaps before. It will continue to learn things about my life in a more metaphorical way.
