Now, lawmakers left Washington without a deal to collect dozens of candidates who made them through a committee with the support of the two parties, and a change in how to address the Senate with the confirmation process on the horizon.
The majority of the Senate John Parasu, R and Yoo, benefited from Schumer and Democrats in the Senate because of their “unprecedented” blocs from the president’s candidates, and they noticed that every choice had been saved for the Minister of Foreign Affairs Marco RubioThose who turned through the Senate earlier this year.
“We have worked through the list, but there is still a great accumulation because it was not raised by the Democrats from every candidate,” Pararaso said. “If they do not change their behavior, we will have to change how to do things here, because the president needs to put his team or team.”

Under normal circumstances, changing the rules in the Senate will require 67 votes, which means that Democrats in the Senate should be on the plane. However, there is a path that lawmakers refer to the name of the nuclear cucumber, which allows changes in the need for only a simple majority.
There is a political will between Republicans to change the rules, but doing so will open the door for Democrats in the Senate to do the same when they enter power again.
“I think this road will happen anyway, because of what Shomer did. He forced this, and it is absurd that he is doing it,” Senator. Marcin MolinR-okla said. Thus, whatever it is, we are at this stage, and we will do, you know what they say, every action requires equal [reaction]And that’s what we are now. “
Some options on the table include shortening the time for candidates, getting rid of procedural votes for some of the lower level candidates, and collecting some civilian candidates “En BLOC”-something that has already been done for military candidates-and at the level of the committee, to decide the number of candidates who are under the confirmation process.

Currently, more than 1,200 jobs pass through the Senate confirmation. Republicans in the Senate managed to confirm more than 130 Trump’s choices so far, but they have had a more upper goal in making at least 60 others before leaving the city until September.
There are still more than 140 candidates suspended in the evaluation of the Senate.
“I think they are in urgent need of change,” the majority leader of the Senate John ThunRu ruler, told reporters. “I think the past six months have proven that this process, nominations, are broken. So I expect that there will be some strong talks about it.”
Regarding the time of legislators to run with rules, changing the bases in the air remains. The Senate went from Washington until early September and will return to a deadline waving on the horizon to avoid the closure of the partial government.
Before leaving the city, the Senate submitted three of the spending bills – the first in the upper room since 2018 – but those bills are unlikely to pass the same at home, given that they are spent on higher levels than that green by GoP.
The sincerity of the rules without Democrats can also change the price of government financing negotiations. Shomer said that changing the potential rules would be a “big mistake” for the Republicans to do it on their own.

“When they go to that alone, they spoil the American people and themselves,” he said.
When asked if there are any possible changes that he and the Democrats of the Senate, “We must work together to legislate matters for the American people.”
“This is the way to go, and not to change the rules, because when they change the rules, they say:” We just decide what is good for the American people. “And every time they do that, the American people lose.”
However, the Republicans were not satisfied with the way the negotiations were transferred days after going and forth.
“In fact, we wanted a deal,” Moulin said. “And these people deserve to be placed in their position … they will say that we are trying to do a nuclear choice. The truth is that they – Shomer – have gone for a long time.”
