RHOP star Wendi Osifo arrested on fraud charges
Another “Real Housewives of Potomac” star is in legal trouble: Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested for fraudulently reporting a burglary and theft last year.
A grand jury in Carroll County, Maryland, indicted the couple on Thursday on “multiple counts of fraud,” the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday in the case. statement. Wendy Osifus faces 16 charges, including seven felony counts of alleged false/misleading information fraud involving more than $300, eight misdemeanor counts of conspiracy and a misdemeanor count of making an alleged false statement to an officer. Her husband faces the same charges and is also on the hook for two additional criminal charges. They are scheduled to return to court in November.
Fraud charges stem from April 2024 burglary It was reported at the Osifus family home in Finksburg, Maryland, more than 27 miles northwest of Baltimore. Court documents show the Oscifos filed a claim with an insurance company alleging the loss of $450,000 worth of personal property, according to TMZ.
