Robots can learn new actions faster thanks to artificial intelligence techniques
INext to the Toyota Research Institute Robotics Laboratory (tripartite) In Cambridge, Massachusetts, a group of robots are busy cooking. There’s nothing special about it; Robotic chefs have been around for a while. But these robots are more efficient than most other robots, flipping pancakes, cutting vegetables, and preparing pizza with ease. The difference is that instead of being painstakingly programmed to carry out their tasks, the Cambridge robots have been taught only a basic set of skills. Using the wonders of artificial intelligence (Amnesty International), and they quickly improved those skills to become more proficient.
