RuPaul Movie Starring Adam Shankman Gets Title “Stop!” Which! Train!’ & release date

RuPaul Charles heads to theaters with… Stop! Which! Train!the action comedy directed by Adam Shankman of Bleecker Street, Universal Pictures Content Group, and World of Wonders.

Bleecker Street will release the film in North American theaters on May 29, 2026. The film wrapped production in Los Angeles this month. Universal Pictures Content Group owns international rights.

The film stars RuPaul alongside stars from Drag racing Universe such as Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Latrice Royale, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Monét X Change and Symone.

Stop! Which! Train! It follows best friends Tess (Ginger Mining) and Dee Dee (Jojobi), train hostesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Railway for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a disastrous “Stormaganza” threatens to derail a high-speed train, the duo on the bus must team up with the arrogant A-list attendants (Brook Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia, Simone) and Chief Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.

“I had a great time shooting Stop! Which! Train!! “With some of the most fun and games out there, we can’t wait to bring it to audiences across the country next May,” said Shankman. “I know I need to laugh now more than ever, and if you’re not howling through this, I’m pretty sure you’re made of coal and probably a descendant of the Grinch family!”

The film is produced by World of Wonder, Universal Pictures Content Group and Bleecker Street, and written by Conor Wright and Christina Friel. Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, RuPaul Charles and Adam Shankman serve as producers. Unapologetic Projects is the executive producer and financier of the project.
