Seattle Democrats Hired Illegal Immigrants as Correctional Officers – Twitchy

Democrats have assured us that all the illegal aliens streaming across the southern border are coming here to pick vegetables that might rot on the vines. However, they continue to appear in other professions. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed a law in 2023 allowing noncitizens to become armed police officers. Illegal immigrants are not allowed to carry weapons, it is a felony. But Illinois simply ignored that.

Jason Rantz, of talk radio station KTTH in Seattle, reported for Fox Business that the King County Jail has hired 38 illegals as correctional officers.

The post continues:

“Have illegal immigrants been expelled?”

“No. Actually, they say they won’t fire them.”

“I just want everyone to notice the irony of a prison that has bad people in those cells for breaking the laws. And at the same time, the actual King County Jail is saying, ‘Oh no, we’re intentionally breaking state law. We’re going to do it anyway, because we don’t like the law.’ What message does that send?”

Remember when Democrats and the media claimed for years and years and years that illegal immigrants were not being hired

What message does that send? As Stuart Varney said: “The authorities can’t stand Trump, they can’t stand anything he does.”

Rantz Reports For Seattle Red:

In a major escalation of a scandal reported exclusively by Seattle Red 770 AM’s Jason Rantz Show, the King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (DAJD) has publicly admitted that at least 38 of its correctional officers were hired and certified despite failing to meet immigration eligibility requirements under state law. The province continues to employ most of them in positions to which they were illegally appointed.

The revelation comes after a whistleblower filed a complaint alleging the number of suspect employees may be as high as 100, raising urgent questions about DAJD’s hiring practices, driving oversight, and potential consequences for public safety.

Under Washington Revised Code 43.101.095 (RCW 43.101.095), a state may certify a correctional employee only if they are U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or individuals covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Instead of simply admitting error and reforming the hiring and vetting process, DAJD reportedly plans to challenge state law, arguing that they should be able to hire correctional officers on work visas.

So we have illegal aliens (legally) working as police officers and (illegally) working as correctional officers. What about vegetables?

Illegal aliens keep an eye on criminals. No one in Seattle seems to consider it a crime to be here illegally. Fire all the guards and then fire the people who hired them.
