Sidney Prescott returns as Neve Campbell

On Thursday, Paramount and Spyglass unveiled the trailer for the film Screaming 7the latest installment in the horror franchise that this time includes Neve Campbell, who returns as the film’s original character Sidney Prescott.

The new picture hits theaters on February 27, 2026.

Plot: A new Ghostface killer appears in the sleepy town where Sydney has built a new life, and her darkest fears come true when her daughter (Isabelle May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sydney must confront the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

Kevin Williamson, who wrote the original 1996 film, also returns, this time directing a screenplay he co-wrote with Guy Busiek. The story is written by James Vanderbilt and Busiek, a 2023 writing duo Sixth screamwhich is the second part, which takes place in New York and achieved $ 166.6 million at the global box office and stars Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera.
