Singer John Rich calls out Zack Bryan over his song attacking ICE – Twitchy
We don’t dip our toes into country music very often. Perhaps the most recent was in 2023, when Jason Aldean came out with his song “Try That in a Small Town,” in which he called out left-wing violence, specifically violence against law enforcement. Progressives didn’t care about it and pointed out that it supported lynching. CMT even pulled the “controversial” music video filmed in front of a courthouse in Tennessee where an African-American man named Henry Chute was lynched in 1927.
Now we have another little controversy going on in Nashville. Country singer Zach Bryan has released a new song called “Bad News”, with the lyrics “And Ace’s gonna come, bust under your door; fade out red, white and blue.”

Country music star John Rich says there are a lot of people like Brian in Nashville.

Zack Bryan has every right to record a song attacking law enforcement, and fans have every right to continue to support his career, or not. Capitalism is not abolition. Who knows, maybe there’s a big “anti-law enforcement” wing of the country music fanbase. We’ll find out soon.

We haven’t checked… Is there a ‘controversial’ music video that will be pulled from rotation?
Zach Bryan was just the same Bud Light.

Oh, they still exist, but they’re called “The Chicks” these days after being told that “Dixie” was racist.

The large anti-law enforcement wing of the country fan base is the untapped resource he seeks. It’s a bold strategy, Cotton 😂😂😂

It’s sad that Zack Bryan wants to be so mainstream that he’ll suck the copper out of a doorknob.

Memphis and Nashville are just blue cities, desecrating the red state

definitely. We don’t know if this will necessarily end his career, but from the comments, it looks like his Spotify streams will start to drop like Bud Light’s stock.
