The Dodgers responded as Yamamoto launched his first World Series complete game since 2015 | World Series
Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched four hits in his second straight complete game, his first in the World Series since 2015, and the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-1 on Saturday night to tie a best-of-seven game at one game apiece.
Coming off a three-hit shutout against Milwaukee in the National League Championship Series that was his first complete postseason game since 2017, Yamamoto retired the last 20 batters in his first complete game in the Series since Kansas City’s Johnny Cueto against the New York Mets in 2015’s Game 2.
