Both candidates in the war funds are much larger than the other seven candidates who ran in the preliminary elections on Tuesday, according to the records of the Cynetel Ethics and Elections.

Harril, who received nearly 100 support from the current elected officials, beat Wilson by a little when it comes to collecting donations before the introductory elections, which led to a little more than $ 500,000, according to the files. By moving to the general elections, Wilson hopes to prevent Harrell from becoming the first mayor in Seattle to win his re -election for two decades.

In an interview with a television program, Wilson said, “We need a leadership that will listen to voters and control the interests of people in the city and not supporters of companies,” in an interview with PBS. During the interview, Wilson pointed out that Harril worked on housing at reasonable prices, on the pretext that he “addressed the campaign to undermine” a proposal that would enhance the development of well -off housing.

But Harrell defended his record as a municipality, as it tells the local news port northwest that his administration “put more than a billion dollars in affordable housing.”

Harril wrote on social media last week: “My election is supported by 100+ of the current and former official officials, employment, as well as the affordable housing, the environment, society, and transport leaders.” “I am proud of the wide and varied coalition that we built to keep Seattle to move forward.”

It is scheduled to face the next general elections that will witness Wilson and Harrell face to face on Tuesday, November 4.
