The Galaxy defense champion does not have an excuse to start winning

Maybe it is Jinx. Or curse. Or simply bad luck.

However, you describe it, it is clear that winning the MLS Cup has not brought the galaxy the momentum they were hoping for because they had not won the MLS game since then.

With three points through eight games, Galaxy (0-5-3) began to the worst beginning in the history of franchise and the worst beginning ever by the ruling MLS champion, according to the Elias SPORTS office.

They only led once this season, and they have the worst goals in the league, and they are already eight points of the match. When getting out of a golden season, everything that touches it turns into bronze. On Saturday, the team tried to celebrate its title by giving up the symmetrical copies of their MLS championship episodes, but even this gesture was recruited – the team only had 10,000 episodes of a crowd of about 24,000.

As expected, the fans were not happy.

Things did not improve when the game started, as the galaxy fell as a goal in the fourteenth minute and below a man in the 28th minute when Zanka drew a red card. Ultimately gathered to earn a 1-1 tie with a unhappy Dynamo, win one.

“There are no excuses,” coach Greg Vanie said. “We have to stop putting ourselves in the holes and then trying to determine our way out. It must be cleaned. It must be fixed.”

But even with no victories, the Vanie team has a reason for hope. The only MLS champion won through eight games, Galaxy 2003, in his ninth match and continued to make the qualifiers.

Alexei Lallas, who played in the 2003 team, said this year Galaxy needs to put last season behind them.

“It is clear that there are inevitable waste after the tournament season. You find yourself trying to restore magic, but dynamic has definitely changed,” he said. “All professions, sales and injuries can contribute to the new and unfamiliar reality.

“This Galaxy team needs to stop worrying about being another version of what it was and to be the best version of what it is.”

All the factors mentioned by Lalas have certainly affected the team’s horrific start. During the winter season, the Dejan Jobeljic team, his leading scorer in the qualifiers, sold midfielders Mark Deljado and Juston Brosman, MLS CUP MVP. It started without midfielder Ricky Bayj, the most important team player, who tore the front of the front in the post -season, and then lost six beginners in many matches.

None of this can be used as an excuse, because the other teams have dealt with similar setbacks without collapse.

Win also brings additional challenges in terms of rewards and other payments that forced the team to rebuild a list that you do not need to be rebuilt only to click on them under the roof of the league salaries. But others managed to overcome this as well: Three teams won the past eight seasons in the MLS CUP season in one season and brought it back to the final next year.

Lallas, who held the position of the head of the galaxy before the football analyst at Fox Sport became: “Serving the blame for the league rules and framing it as an inevitable thing, which seems to be the galaxy sometimes promotes themselves, can become a prophecy of self -realization.” “There is enough talent and experience in the Galaxy team, at least a competition.

“They may not restore magic from last year, but they should not be so bad.”

The galaxy proved that in CONCAF Champions CupBy beating Costa Rica Heridiano champion before losing him by a slight difference against Tigris Oanl, runner -up Liga MX. They did despite deals, sales, injuries and salary issues.

Diego Wagunde, who seized the galaxy against Houston and scored the only goal of the team on Saturday in its appearance 400 MLS, that the team needs to stop looking for a scapegoat and start searching for solutions.

He said, “I think it’s details.” “I have been saying this now over the past two weeks: Pay attention to the details. Because this is what kills us.”

The season did not end for the galaxy. In 2009, the Columbus crew went without victory through seven games, but in the end it will end up at the top of the eastern conference. In the year that Houston had previously won through six games and gathered to win the Western Conference. This climbing may be very slope to the galaxy, but with 18 teams of 30 MLS make the qualifiers, the post -season berth should not be incomplete.

There is a simple way to do this modest goal.

“We need to start winning the matches.”
