The horror of Thailand-Vietnam “The Bride” puts global work
Skyline Media, which is based in Vietnam, is organizing a global launch of “The BRIDE”, a horror participant in Thailand Vietnam, whose theatrical release will begin with the first show in Vietnam on August 29.
The film, produced by Thongkham Films and Silver Moonight Entertainment, has received distribution deals across multiple regions, with Australia and New Zealand to release the film on the same date of its appearance in Vietnam through Instainment.
There are additional theatrical deals for Taiwan, North America (Delta Films SAC), with expected versions across these areas in September. Thailand will be the final station in the release of the international play.
It was directed by Li Thongkham and produced by Hang Trane, the “bride” follows a young Vietnamese woman working with her wealthy Thai boyfriend. Her visit to his rural hometown in Thailand became terrifying when she faced the governing presence of the bride after trying a traditional Thailand’s wedding dress – the legacy that houses evil family secrets.
The film was filmed via Chiang Mai, Thailand and the city of Hoshi Minh, Vietnam, which includes Benitin actors led by Thailand Crisnabom “JJ” Pibulsonggram (“The Last Breath”) and Rima Thanh Vy (“MUOI: The Corse Returns”). The Vietnamese band also includes Jun Vu (“One hundred billion key”) and Christ Duong (“once in the time in Indo -Chinese”), while Thai actors include Karnpicha “Jomjam” Pongpanit (“Redlife”), Narupornkamol “Praew” CHAISANG (“Master of The House “),” Duangjai “. R.nu surrasak chaiyaat (“Love Destiny”).
“After more than a year of development, Skyline Media is implementing an ambitious strategy to launch the international movie,” said Alice Ngwin, director of distribution at Skyline Media. “We are scheduled to cinema holes in the main regions shortly after the Vietnamese show on August 29, followed by serial publications across Asian markets, and a big theater conclusion in the hometown of the cultural story – Thailand.”
The latest project in the Skyline Media strategy to bring Vietnamese content to international markets. Since the beginning of 2025, the company has expanded worldwide with the family drama “The Real Sister”, which was first displayed in more than 100 locations in North America, and was issued in Myanmar, Australia and New Zealand. “The Garehous House”, which is the supreme spiritual movie Vietnam, reached international cinemas in Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Canada, and became the eighth of the highest Vietnamese movie at all times in North America.
Skyline Media plans to provide “The Bride” to additional buyers in the upcoming Asian Contents Market (ACFM) in Busan in September, focusing on expanding sales across additional Asian regions.
Thongkham Films, founded in 2020 by director Lee Thongkham, has a good reputation in the novel of stories and international cooperation, with previous credits including the original Netflix “The Maid”, Thailand Cina’s joint “The Lake”, and Comed-Action-Comedy “Kitty The Killer”.
Silver Moonlight Entertainment, founded in 2019, participated in the production and investment of films Vietnamese including “Blood Moon Party”, “Vietnamese Horror Story”, “The Abstract Truth” and “MUOI: The Curse Returns”.
Skyline Media distributed more than 800 international addresses and worked as a sales agent for more than 150 Vietnamese and Southeast Asian titles, reaching more than 50 countries through 130 partnerships all over the world.
