The Runaways changed the face of music 50 years ago – Twitchy

Everything began when the young guitarist named Joan Marie Larkin, her hometown in Winod, left Pennsylvania, and moved to Los Angeles to chase her dream. A journey that will change the music and lead to the famous famous Joan Gate to the world and the Rock & Roll Celebrity Hall.





Joan and drama player Sandy West was recruited by producer Kim Foley, and on the fifth of August 1975, the fugitives were born. Joan, as the story says, was tested by Fuli by playing the guitar in a sweet album. The band will release four studio albums and one direct album before going to its separate path in 1979, but its impact on the world of music has just started.
