The startup that connects African businesses with tourists
Nigerian entrepreneur Rori Okoli started her career in the hospitality sector in Nigeria.
That experience, along with traveling through Africa, showed her that it is not always easy for tourists to organize African trips.
So, I launched TripZapp with the goal of making it easier to find, book, and pay for travelers in Africa.
In particular, she wanted to connect locally owned businesses with tourists.
This included integrating the latest payment and productivity tools into the company’s operations.
TripZapp now offers all kinds of adventures, from swimming with turtles in Zanzibar to hot air balloon rides in Egypt.
This is the fifth part of the series on technology in Africa.
