Washington – Supreme Court judges are scheduled to meet on Monday to discuss hundreds of appeals that have accumulated during the summer rest period, including Gentlyn Maxwell The challenge of its criminal convictions To recruit and prepare teenage girls for Geoffry Epstein.

The court only takes a small percentage of appeal and is likely to announce a list of those who agreed to hear it later in the week. Four of the nine judges must vote in favor of hearing a case to take it.

Judges are also scheduled to discuss a wide range of other cases in what is known as the “Long Conference”. They include issues such as weapons rights, social media immunity and Covid-19 Era vaccine disputes.

The two also represented 20 years since John Roberts has become the chief judge. The nine -month -old Supreme Supreme Court begins, when the court begins to hear cases, officially on October 6.

Maxwell’s lawyers say that the Ibstin deal, which was concluded with the prosecutors in Florida, in which the lawyer agreed at the time not to prosecute the potential participants, should apply to one of the three charges in its case.

The legal question is whether the conditions of the so -called incompatibility agreement apply only in the boycott that has been negotiated or links federal public prosecutors at the country level. While the agreement was made with Epstein in Florida, Maxwell was prosecuted in New York.

The Ministry of Justice urged the Supreme Court not to hear the case, as the public lawyer, De John Saw, indicated, among other matters, that in light of the internal policies, the American lawyer needed to obtain permission from the presidents if the agreement was advancing outside his region. There is no evidence that it happened, adding Sawir.

Epstein’s long history of abuse returned to the main headlines this year, as the Trump administration pledged, in response to pressure from some supporters of President Donald Trump, to issue new information about this episode.

But the Ministry of Justice and the Federal Investigation Office said that there was no “List of Epsin” or evidence that he was blackmailing the famous men. The government also said that it is clear that Epstein killed himself in 2019, as he returned to unfounded conspiracy theories, indicating that he was killed.

This prompted a violent reaction against the Trump administration’s treatment of the case, including Trump’s supporters. Trump himself was friendly with Epstein for many years before the two fell. The American lawyer who supervised the unhappy agreement with Epstein was Alex Acosta, who served as Minister of Labor in Trump’s first state.

Deputy Prosecutor Todd Blanche, who was previously a personal lawyer for Trump, met this summer with Maxwell for hours in a meeting, at the time, was shrouded in secret.

MaxWell was later transferred from Florida’s low -security prison to a minimum security camp in Texas. The prison office did not say why it was transferred.

The Ministry of Justice was later released a full version and a vote for Blanch’s interview with Maxwell.

In 2022, Maxwell was convicted of three charges related to her role in helping Epstein in employing and preparing his victims, some of whom were 14 years old. A friendship would be held with the victims and then helped transfer them to the Epstein housing. It will also be sometimes present when ill -treatment occurred, Prosecutors pray.

Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
