The White House is defending President Donald Trump’s tariff against the best trading partners in the country after the stock market witnessed its worst day in 2025, when it left the sale that left Dow about 900 points. Investors may face another difficult day with more definitions that are scheduled to enter into force on Wednesday and the government closing looming on the horizon and recession fears.
