The White House often allows the public to participate in naming the turkeys, usually choosing from fan requests.
This year, the First Lady asked people to vote on X, and shared with them a shortlist of potential names.
The turkeys pardoned last year, “Peach” and “Blossom,” and those before them, “Liberty” and “Bell,” all came from Minnesota.
North Carolina, Indiana, Iowa, South Dakota, Ohio, California, Virginia and Missouri sent turkeys to the White House.
