Trump calls for 20,000 additional officers to help deport efforts

On Friday, President Trump ordered the Ministry of Internal Security to increase the deportation force in the United States by 20,000 officers, a step that would lead to the massive expansion in enforcement of immigration if it is fulfilled.

In a ruling supported by a presidential declaration focusing on pushing uncomfortable immigrants to leave the country voluntarily, Mr. Trump called on the Ministry of Internal Security to start soon “predicts with law enforcement officials, local, former federal employees, employees and employees in the field of others, and other individuals.”

It was not clear how such an effort would be funded, one of many major logistical obstacles for such a big process. There are now about 6000 officers who focus on dedicated migration and enforcement efforts.

Mr. Trump has prompted the implementation of local and local law enforcement officers to enforce immigration before, and officials of the Ministry of Internal Security have already signed a series of agreements with local law enforcement in the months that passed from his position. Late last month, Florida Local Officials helped Ice in an operation that led to the arrest of more than 1,100 migrants across the state.

The Trump administration has spent the past few months in an attempt to fulfill the president’s promise to collect collective deportation by conducting comprehensive raids in major cities, arresting international students and allowing officers to be more freedom as they are arresting, as in the courts. But he is still fighting to reach the pace that will be necessary for Mr. Trump’s extensive deportation goals.

In recent weeks, the Trump administration has turned to pushing migrants to leave the country on their own, a concept known as “self -decision.” Earlier this week, administration officials said they would pay immigrants $ 1,000 and the cost of their travel if they left the country voluntarily and used a government application to do so.

In his announcement on Friday, Mr. Trump repeated this invitation, describing it as a “project to return to the homeland.”

“This announcement creates the project to return to the homeland, which will provide illegal foreigners: either the United States will leave voluntarily, while supporting federal government and financial assistance, or they remain and face the consequences.”

Mr. Trump has ordered the Ministry of Internal Security and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to start a “communication campaign worldwide” to inform migrants to offer self -transmission and warn them that not doing so will lead to severe consequences.

Besides their arrest and deportation, the declaration warned that immigrants may face “fines in accordance with the law in force in migration crimes; Zain wages; confiscation of savings and personal property, including homes and vehicles.”
