But there is liquidity in the political battle, where surveys show a large share of voters who are not sure to blame. The closure is only on its second day, as the Republicans and Democrats have formed their messages, and it is not clear for the time the dilemma will continue.

The closure started at 12:01 am on October 1 after Congress and Trump’s failure to reach a government financing agreement. Republicans control the White House and both rooms of Congress, but they need 60 votes in the Senate to pass the financing bill, and they only control 53 seats. This means that they need democratic voices on any action to reopen the government.

In exchange for their voices, Democrats demanded the extension of the care funds at expired prices, the abolition of discounts in Medicaid, changes in the “Trump Grand Bill” and assurances that Trump will not block money unilaterally by Congress in a government financing law where his administration has detonated times in recent months.

Republicans say they will not give any concessions to the Democrats just to keep the government open. They are ready to negotiate with expired, expired prices, which will lead to high health insurance premiums if they are not renewed – but once the government is funded. However, many legislators want the Republican Party to end completely.

The polls on health care subsidies are scattered at the present time, but the Washington Post poll found that 71 % of the United States adults want to extend ACA benefits, while 29 % said it should end at the time specified at the end of this year.

Both sides show dug in the closure. A clear majority of the respondents who want to extend the benefits says that Congress should ask for this extension, even if it requires the closure to continue, while the vast majority of those who want to end their benefits also want their team to adhere to this request, even if the closing is prolonged.
