US striker Hagi Wright hurt Achilles, he will miss the rest of the Gold Cup
US striker Hagi Wright will lose the rest of the Concacaf Gold Cup due to Achilles injury.
Wright, 27, from Los Angeles, scored in the 84th minute of winning last week against Trinidad and Tobago, 11 minutes after entering. He did not play on Thursday 1-0 victory over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the US Football Association said on Saturday that it will return to the city of Coventry for evaluation and treatment.
