Uswnt Shebelieoves Cup list: Katarina Makario returns while Naomi Jerma, while others recover

Emma Hayes appointed 23 players in the Shivs Cup for the National Women’s team, only 12 of them in the Olympic team that won the gold last summer.

Before drilling, know that there are some major stars sitting. Trinity Rodman (who is still restoring her fitness while rehabilitating back injury), Malry Swson (personal obligations) and Sofia Smith (physically not ready for the USWnt competition) will be absent again. This is how lavelle (recovery from ankle surgery) and Naomi Girama will rise (recover from the calf injury).

However, there is good news: Katarina Makario returned. The Chelsea star has not played with USWnt since June 1, 2024 due to the irritation of the knee that brought it out of the Paris Olympics – a list she initially made but had to withdraw from it because of this injury. She played 13 games for her club this season, started five, and scored five goals with two passes. Ironically, Macario returned to the national team in the Shelifes Cup last year, after a much longer injury was demobilized.

The tenth annual slepy Chebevis Cup is held in Houston (February 20 against Colombia), Glenel, Areez. (February 23 against Australia) and San Diego (February 26 against Japan).

“This team is still growing, and I still admire the dedication of our players to improve, individually and as a group,” Hayes said in a statement. “With many players at the beginning of their club, we will be patient with them, but at the same time, we will increase the time we face together.

“We are facing three excellent teams with three completely different styles and the tournament will be a great test to know who can perform players at a global level, but to see that, we need to give them opportunities. We have put a lot of thought of the best ways to accomplish this while continuing to develop and put a team that can Winning, so every game should be very enjoyable for employees, players and fans.

Since the United States won gold in the Olympic Games, Hayes has spent the past few months expanding the players’ gathering. She gave opportunities for younger players, held a future camp alongside the training camp in the big team in January, and she hoped to have a “basic group” while this tournament is taking place.

While there are important names that do not participate in this window, it is worth noting that the young players clearly made impressions of the coach. For example: Claire Hutton, Jeselle Thomson, 19, got the 22 -year -old Michelle Cooper, who got the first phone calls after attending the futures camp in January. The inclusion of Thompson, along with her older sister Alyssa, represents the third time in the history of the program that was a couple of sisters on the same list. Tara McChyun, 25, has manufactured her first team list in the January camp, the fourth unexploited player in this group.

Hayes also named three training players who will not be on the game’s day lists, but they will train with the team throughout the tournament. All three-Manchester United goalkeeper phallon tullis-joyce, Angel City Defender Savy King and Bay Fc Libeiving Hannah Bebar- are not exploited.

Meanwhile, the average age of the team is 24.9, while the average number of covers for each player in this list is 33.2. Captain Lindsey Hips (formerly Horan) – who married in December – leads the road with 161 camp and 36 goals.
