The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were on hand to accept the Humanitarian of the Year award at the annual event held Thursday evening in New York City. The couple made a number of appearances in the Big Apple after making the trip from their home in California.
It was one of a number of engagements Meghan Markle made during her whirlwind visit to the city. She also found time to connect with her best friend Serena Williams and celebrated World Mental Health Day by giving a speech in collaboration with Project Healthy Minds.
Her choice of hotel? The Rosewood Carlisle Hotel, which has also hosted Princess Diana, Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
