Global global trial An mRNA vaccine against norovirus is currently being developed with the aim of reducing the health burden caused by the notorious “winter vomiting” bug. The trial has been complicated by the emergence of a new strain of norovirus that is causing large numbers of cases in parts of the world, including England.
