It seems that you can lose your weak weight if you eat a diet based on locally made food, compared to very treated meals and snacks.

Food is generally considered very processed if it includes components Never or rarely used in kitchensLike high fructose corn syrup, or additives make the product more acceptable or attractive, such as flavors and prices.

Several studies have linked to eating very treated with harmful health results, such as Cardiovascular problems, type 2 diabetes and OverweightBut these studies were noticeable. The very treated food also tends to high sugar, salt, or fat-such as cookies and microwave meals-which provokes a discussion about whether just the ingredients that make unhealthy food foods or if there is something harmful in the treatment itself.

To better understand this in the context of weight loss, Samuel Dicken At the University of College London and its colleagues, they tried 55 people who were overweight or were obese to eat a diet of treatment or minimal treatment.

“It is clear that everyone imagines pizza and chips and this type of things when they think about very treated foods,” says Dicken. However, the researchers were keen to make sure that both systems are in line with UK Eatwell GuideWhich encourages a healthy and balanced diet includes at least five parts of fruits and vegetables per day and several sources of protein, such as beans, fish, eggs and meat. The diet has also been matched, so it has almost the same levels of fat, sugar, salt and carbohydrates.

The food has been delivered to the participants, making it the first experience to compare such meals in realistic conditions, not in the hospital or laboratory. With the most processed collection, these things such as breakfast, protein bars, chicken sandwiches, and prefabricated lasas are included, but the versions that were low in fat and salt. “This type of food that if you go to a supermarket is slapped with food health demands,” Dicken says.

Diet from processing is characterized by the minimum homemade foods such as oatmeal overnight, chicken salad and baking from zero and spaghetti Boloniz. Both groups were given enough food for about 4000 calories a day and they were told to eat as they want. The researchers prepared it so that half of the participants in a single diet for eight weeks, and half on the other hand, and then turned after a four -week break.

The participants were told that the study was looking at the health effects of balanced meals that were conducted in various ways, instead of searching for weight loss specifically, but both systems still led to tastes: the treating diet led to a minimum low weight by 2 percent, and the ultra -treated diet led to a reduction of 1 percent.

“We have seen more weight loss on the minimal processed diet, not only, we have also seen greater fat loss and a greater decrease in desire,” says Dicken.

The researchers also looked at other health standards and found that the processed diet reduces the amount of fat in their bodies and levels in the blood. Perhaps it is surprising that a very treated diet has led to low low -density lipoprotein levels, or “bad” cholesterol.

but, Ciaran Ford At Wageningen University in the Netherlands, she says that the ultra -density diet was more intense calories than the minimal processor, which could have led to the difference in weight loss. “The main question remains without answering the type of treatment or components that lead the monitored effects,” he says.

Ford adds that it is not surprising that the participants have lost weight, given that they are overweight or have obesity to start and then went to a healthy diet. This may mean that the results of weight loss will not apply to the wider population.
