Mersom News Trump meeting in the capital to request more
California Governor Gavin New Roosom traveled to Washington, DC, on Tuesday to meet President Donald Trump and members of Congress in the hope of securing more money after deadly forest fires in the Los Angeles region.
The visit, which was confirmed by the White House, just one day after the California legislators agreed to $ 25 million in legal financing to the Trump administration challenge.
This will be the first visit of newsom to the capital since Trump took over and continues to call for additional federal financing to help restore fires.

Trump threatened to block wild assistance until some conditions were met in California, including changes in water policy and requires an identity card to vote, but now it seems ready to work with newsom after visiting Golden State last month.
The two remained friendly, despite each other’s criticism on social media.

Newsom calls Trump’s allegations of “pure imagination” after he indicated his finger on the California fire tragedy
Trump has made a lot of blame for deadly forest fires on newsom, Los Angeles Karen Pass and the policies approved by the state. In an executive order issued last month, the state’s land and water resources management described it as “catastrophic”.
“This tragedy affects the entire nation, so it is in the interest of the country to ensure that California has what you need to prevent and combat these fires in the future,” Trump wrote. “Therefore, the US policy is to provide southern California with the necessary water resources, despite harmful governmental or local policies.”
