Paul Hughes Tecos Bruno Miranda in 42 seconds

It was not possible for a return to the homeland Paul Hughes.

In the main event of 2025 PFL Europe 1: Belfast, Hughes (14-2) faced in SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The battle ended in just 42 seconds.

Hughes, who is trained by the Fighting Academy in Belfast, started fighting by pressing Miranda (17-6), looking for an opening. Miranda offered a left kick to the middle section, which Hughes caught with his left hand. Then Hughes pulled the leg down, immediately reached a left hook, and caught Miranda to flow on the chin.

Miranda fell to the fabric, and Hughes eventually walked with a large hammer. A few seconds later, the battle ended, as Belfast was sent to a feverish celebration of TKO in the first round of Hughes.

With the victory, Hughes, 28, returned to the column of winning after losing the majority decision in the battle of a title against Osman Normagomidov in January. His goal from that moment was to restore that battle, because he believes he could accomplish the task to become a lightweight hero.

Miranda, 34, failed to keep the momentum after winning the decision against Patrick Freiri last June. Brazilian weight has now become 1-3 during its last four battles, which is an approximate extension that followed the seven battle chain.
