Trump declares the United States for a ceasefire between India and Pakistan – Twchy

President Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire agreement has been reached between India and Pakistan, by the United States.

President’s statement:

“After a long night of conversations in which the United States mediates, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both countries for using a good sense and great intelligence. Thank you for your interest in this matter!”

The last round of aggression between nuclear -powered countries stems from a terrorist attack in Kashmir on April 22.

India launched a series of air strikes on terrorist targets inside Pakistan on May 6 and a series of dreams begin to attack TAT from both countries.

Earlier this week, the President stated that the United States will do anything in its power to help end hostilities, but it will not participate directly in the conflict, because, as Vice President JD Vance said, it was not our actions at all.

He is right. India and Pakistan have been fighting in Kashmir since the British invented the border between India and Pakistan. However, the presence of good relations with both governments, the United States was in a good position to work as a third -party mediator.

Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Vice President used this position to help end the current hostilities.

During the past 48 hours, VP Fase and I participated with senior Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Sharif people, Minister of Foreign Affairs Supramamiam Jaishhakar, Army Chief of Staff Amer Monir, National Security Advisers Ajit Duval and Malik.

I am pleased to announce that the governments of India and Pakistan have agreed to a immediate ceasefire and started talks on a wide range of issues in a neutral site.

We commend the prime ministers Moody and Sharif for their wisdom, wisdom, and the state’s ingenuity in choosing the path of peace.

The abolition of hostilities is a good start. Will the United States be able to help Moody and Sharif negotiate a permanent peace agreement that was long for decades?

At the present time, the fighting stopped, but the real challenge remains: negotiating a permanent and sustainable peace agreement that blows on India and Pakistan for nearly eighty years.
